Y’all, I am so excited for this one. Since the wedding, I have wanted to create some type of functional decoration with recipes for the custom cocktails served that night, as well as others we develop. We made a sign for the wedding, but I wanted something smaller and more graphic for the house (with actual ratios and instructions). This project is in-progress: I have done the bulk of the design work and am too impatient to share, but I am still working on how to display the final product.
These are not all commercially licensed, so I want to be clear that these bar recipes are not for sale, nor made for me to gain profit in any way.
I did all of the design work in Adobe Illustrator, with graphics from Flat Icon and all over the web. Again – no commercial purpose here, just fun. The recipes displayed below are entirely our own, though some are adapted from published or known favorites.
For any “smoked” drink, we use a butane kitchen torch– it’s also handy for creme brulee.
Also, besides the Angostura Bitters, all bitters are homemade with recipes from Brad Thomas Parsons. If you try any of these recipes please tell us! Especially if you modify them or have any fun suggestions. And stay tuned for additional cocktails, as well as Part 2, once I put the physical decor together.
